Aspect Perfect ("we", "our", or "us") is a desktop application sold by Adam Lankamer, registered in Spain. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to operate the service:

• Purchase data — When you buy a licence, Stripe processes your payment and passes us your email address and the amount paid. We do not receive or store your card details.
• Licence key — We generate a unique licence key (ASPP-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) and associate it with your email address. This is stored on our server to validate your licence.
• Licence validation requests — When the app validates your key, it sends the key to our server. We log successful validations to detect abuse. We do not collect your IP address, device fingerprint, or usage data.

The app runs entirely on your machine. Your image and video files are never uploaded anywhere.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To deliver your licence key by email after purchase.
• To validate your licence when the app checks in.
• To respond to support requests sent to acreatorstore@translatea.com.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

• Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data: stripe.com/privacy.
• Resend — Transactional email delivery (licence key emails). Resend processes your email address to deliver the email.
• Netlify — Hosts this website. Netlify may collect standard server logs (IP, browser, referring URL) per their privacy policy.

4. Data Storage and Security

Licence key records are stored on a private server (Hetzner VPS, EU). We apply reasonable security measures to protect this data. Email addresses are stored only as long as needed to support your licence.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict processing.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. Cookies

This website does not use tracking cookies or analytics. Netlify may set functional cookies as part of hosting infrastructure.

7. Children

Aspect Perfect is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance.
